relief, but never for very long. Then I was
referred to Dr. Edwards who was able to get
more results in just 2 sessions than I would
have gotten from six months of weekly massage.”

Muscle pain? Impaired movement?
Ann Edwards, DPT, CMTPT
By the time most of my patients find me, they have already tried one or more treatment options without satisfactory pain relief. More than a few have commented that they wish they had tried my program of intramuscular manual therapy first.
Most people don’t know that muscle pain and impaired movement typically respond well to a variety of manual therapy techniques under the care of a licensed physical therapist. Even physicians tend to pass over evidence-based manual therapy treatment techniques in favor of pain medications or surgery.
My practice employs a holistic approach that is highly effective in eliminating pain and restoring function. Each session consists of hands-on manual therapy techniques using the principles of myofascial trigger point release. I am certified in intramuscular manual therapy techniques which have been proven to dramatically reduce pain and restore impaired movement.
I also provide nutritional and supplement counseling (as related to pain relief), individualized stretching programs, and kinesiotape applications.
